As Areinio Hall says......LET'S....GET....BUSY!!!!......Woop!!!Woop!!!WOOP!!
Well since I am already late by three days I guess I Should say
something about the Magazine.
The Power Gammers Magazine is a Free publication that is donated by
SysOp's and Users alike. This is supposed to be a once every other
Month Magazine. (IE: 6 issues a Year) But as I have said the time
spent and articles that are written are just donated, and if we don't
get any thing or it dies in the middle somewhere then there is no
Magazine.
To summit articles you can call RabbitLand II in Dallas at 681-6393,
and Upload any *.Art that you have. These need to be in a Standard
text file so I can incorporate them into the Magazine.
If you have Front Door or any other Mailer set up you can just send
them to me at PGnet 80:801/304 and Please Post me a Message that you
have uploaded something.
Ok enough Begging, <G> lets get started, As I am late I will be
Stealing stuff from New Game Docs and other areas So Lets Hit it.

The following are experts from New & Upgraded games that are comming

Trade Wars 2002 Version 2
The story continues...
by Gary Martin and MaryAnn Martin @1:299/299
Many thanks also to Drew Markham, a.k.a. Videon
Castle RavenLoft (913) 842-0300 and (913) 832-2888
Trade Wars 2002 is the result of over 7 years of game testing and
development. The version you have in your hands is 2.00, our NEW version,
offerings tons of new features the players requested and some new twists that
we threw in ourselves! It is one of the most complex games in the BBS world
at this time. You probably can guess about the amount of development time that
went into this game. Install and run this game for a few weeks and if you
agree that it is decent and want to keep it, you will need to register with us.
The registration fee is very small, just $20. Being registered will keep you
in touch with further development of the game and all subsequent releases of
Trade Wars 2002 will be free of charge to you. This un-registered version is
almost fully functional. There are four options that do not work:
You cannot edit any values in the Trade Wars Sysop's editor,
Players cannot buy any of the other shiptypes in the game, and
Players cannot build or enter Citadels on planets.
Photon Missiles cannot be purchased.
The rest of the game works 100% Try it, I think you'll agree that our
registration fee is cheap for what you get!
Please allow 3-6 weeks for your registration code to reach you by return mail.
We will not transmit registration codes through the net. And we will not
call with your codes. We have very little time to work on the game as it is.
Also, US Postal Priority Mail doesn't seem to be any faster than regular mail!
We get registrations from either coast in 3-4 days. Please include your BBS
name, type and number as well as your address on the included form TWORDER.FRM.
--------------------------- Update Info -----------------------------
If you registered Trade Wars 1.xx or 0.9x before January 1st, 1994, then
you are eligible for a free upgrade to the new version 2.xx codes. You
will find an update form included with this archive. Get it to us and
we'll get you your new codes for 2.xx

On The Seventh Day
The first version of ON THE 7TH DAY was written in September of 1992,
and took four 2-hour sessions to complete. I missed a whole week of
David Letterman in order to finish this thing!
The original version was very crude. It didn't have ANY door routines,
and had to be run with the aid of Doorway [(c) Sean & Marshall Dudley].
I have since been updating the source, which included four total re-do's
in order to get it running as well as it does.
I really have to thank Ted Freeman for the DoorFrame package, which made
the communications and display routines MUCH easier. And since I no
longer need to worry about the communications routines, I can now spend
all of my programming time to actually improving the game, which will
mean a more enjoyable product for all of you!
Basically what I'm saying is this: If you have any comments about the
game, or technical problems while playing, please leave your sysop a
note and tell him to relay the info to me. Any bug that has not been
previously reported, and is significant to the play of the game, will
result in me sending your sysop a FREE REGISTERED COPY of the door!
Now that I have explained (for the most part) the options available,
feel free to kick some rear! I know I left out quite a few aspects of
the game, but figuring out the little puzzles are the best part of
playing! Have fun, and be sure to give some feedback!
Oh, and by the way, if you feel the need to reach me:

Congratulations! You and your users are Now able to begin enjoying the
"leader of the pack" chess software for computer Bulletin Board Systems!
The design of ChessMAGIC! and its features were developed by those with
many years of experience in playing both OTB chess and BBS chess. Many
of the standard features in ChessMAGIC! are NOT AVAILABLE with other
forms of BBS chess programs. Not only do we blow them out of the water
with power-packed features, but you'll find we don't charge an arm and a
leg for it either! This unregistered version, while slightly limited in
its scope, is fairly open in its functionality. The reason for this is
quite simple...we want you to become a registered user. We sincerely
believe that you'll find no better BBS chess program anywhere for any
price!
A feature not found in other BBS chess programs that's loved by
chess buffs is that games are never reused, unless you specifically want
them to be! For as long as you wish to keep completed games available,
your users can download and view them, move by move, using CMReader
or one their own favorite viewers. If you've got enough drive space,
9,999,999 (that's right, almost 10 million!) games can be maintained in
each playing area.
You might ask, "How many chess areas can I have?" The answer is
simple...virtually unlimited! When the time comes and that's not
enough, feel free to ask our grandchildren for more!
ChessMAGIC!, unlike other BBS chess programs, uses the same algorithm
for calculating its ratings as does the USCF. These ratings will be
consistent throughout each and every one of your chess areas. Other BBS
chess programs maintain no accurate master records for maximum
efficiency. Not so in ChessMAGIC!. ChessMAGIC! is highly integrated in
the fact that it carries only 1 rating per player, no matter how many
rated areas there are. All player data is maintained in a centralized
data base and shared by all chess areas. This provides a more realistic
rating system per board. More good news is, all areas are accessible
from the ChessMAGIC! menu. No more need for a sysop to set up different
door menu options, as in other BBS chess programs...
Does your BBS hold chess tournaments? Pairing and setting up player
files can be a real chore in other BBS chess programs. ChessMAGIC!'s
CMEdit companion program will perform all the pairings and setups for you!
As you're also going to find out, KnightWare is highly responsive to your
needs. We value your suggestions about improving our product. So, if
you think we need to add the kitchen sink, let us know!
Although ChessMAGIC! is an easy program to install on most any BBS,
there may be a Sysop who has difficulty. If so, please don't
hesitate to phone our support BBS! We will be glad to assist you in
getting ChessMAGIC! up and running.

Hello Sysop!
LORD is a multi-player battle game created for Bulletin Board Systems.
Here are some thing this door supports:
** DesqView, Windows and OS2 Support.
** Support for most drop file types.
** IRQs 0-15 support & Selectable Port Addresses
** CTS/RTS flow checking, Lock baud and Comm Baud rates up to 115,200
** Own com routines support.
** /E option to use EMS Memory
** Fossil driver support.
** Locked fossil driver support.
** True multi-node support. (Send online messages, battles and such!)
** Rip Support Detect, and found on WC3.9+ or PCB15 dropfiles.
As well as ANSI and even ASCII.
** Option to generate ANSI & ASCII score files with any path and name
in LORDCFG.EXE!
** In game downloading of RIPLORD.ZIP, the optional file RIP users can
unzip to their ICONS directory for super speed. (LORD will auto
detect if they are using RIP, what version of RIP, and if they do not
have the LORD icons, will give them the option to download it)
** Auto Maintenance as the first person of the day plays. Entire
process takes less then 2 seconds on most systems.
** Auto deletion of inactive players. (You can set how long if needed)
Smart Delete also knows when your system is down, if no one plays,
it will not count that day against the user.
** Ultra easy to run. You don't have to do anything, ever. On the other
hand, LORDCFG.EXE will allow the sysop to become as involved as he
wants to be! Define many rules, and enable/disable certain options.
(Not all options avaible to an unregistered game)
** Powerfull player editor!
** Safety features. Checksums on the data files will let LORD know if
one becomes corrupted, and will automatically return to the BBS, NOT
saving the bad data.
Every time when the FIRST person of the day plays, LORD will create
a backup of your PLAYER.DAT file. (PLAYER.BAK) If you catch an error
later in the day in that file, you can copy the .bak file to the .dat
file.
** Inactivity timeout at 3 minutes, regardless of caller security.
** Sysop chat option, use Alt-C to chat, Escape to finish.
** Sysop can change users time with up and down arrows.
** Players play an average of 10 minutes a day (at standard settings)
The perfect came to complement an active message base. In fact,
thats why it was written. Keeps 'em coming back for more EACH DAY!
Stuff Especially new:
** Special Skills! Players can take their pick of being a 'Death Knight',
'Mystical Skills User' or a student of the 'Thieving Skills'! Or,
become the ultimate warrior, and LEARN THEM ALL!
** "Never Reset" gameplay. New approach to gaming! When a player wins
the game, only *HE* is reset. He does keep special 'skills' he has
learned, as well his charm, kids and status in The Old Man Rankings.
** Much more text. Log 'lementings' can be easily edited for a
personalized game!
** Smart Node. Users are automatically informed when another player
enters the realm at the same time. Or leaves. Or sends a message.
(Via messenger on horseback!)
(Single line systems, if you can multi-task, you CAN use the LOCAL /l
option from DOS to play along with someone on your BBS. It's the
same as having two nodes from LORDs point of view)
** More interactive forest events. Many 'secrets' to discover.
** Hundreds of ways for players to interact.
** Marrage and kids are all options in LORD 3.03.
** BlackCloak Tavern. Hard to find, but VERY interesting when you do.
** Powerfull mail writing routines. Unlimited length.
** Always tastefully lewd, and sort of tastefully gory.
** A *FREE* upgrade to previously registered users. (As all upgrades
are FREE for Seth Able Games products)
** Reach new hights of conversation with 'Characters' from the
game.
** Still only $15 to register, the best value in doors today.

in an effort to provide the best possible on-line entertainment. Promoting
the door games, cooperation and teamwork is also our intent. PG-Net is solely
